The idea behind this dimple-shaped short-game aid is to exaggerate your misses. If you hit a putt off-center, The Pill™ will miss three cups outside instead of a slight miss. This modified golf ball is designed to give you immediate feedback on the quality of your putting stroke. If hit improperly the ball will either lean to one side and roll off line, or tumble wildly.

Because The Pill™ is slightly lighter in weight than a golf ball it encourages a stronger stoke be made to get The Pill™ to the hole. This in turn helps when you use an actual golf ball on the greens during your round to not leave the ball short as many amateurs do.
